The debut documentary, [un]hospitable, will be directed by Colleen Silk. This feature documentary aims to uncover the silent struggles that women face in hospitality, addressing issues such as periods, pregnancy, perimenopause, and more.
Founded by Colleen Silk, HBM draws on her extensive experience in the hospitality industry. Colleen’s background includes roles in operations, management, brand strategy, and consulting, along with her current work as a creative writer and producer tailored to the needs of the hospitality sector.
HBM’s mission is to reshape the narrative in hospitality, emphasizing the importance of mental health, inclusivity, and support within the workplace to create a thriving industry for all. Colleen Silk is a wife, Mompreneur, Hospitality Hustler, Ambassador & Mental Health Hero Gold Influencer Winner at The Burnt Chef Project, with nearly 20 years of experience in the industry. She is the Founder of HBM and Podcast Host of Hospitality Bites, where she highlights the untold stories of the industry.
